WANTED - Spare Prop

Post by A_Nomad »

After seeing someone down the east doing a quick prop change, then reading shanes post, thought it might be a good idea and get my ass into gear and put a spare prop in the boat. I have a 70 Evinrude on the back, so if anyone wants to part with a spare at a reasonable price, just let me know.

Cheers,
Brad

here's one MAAATE!!! you just have to tap it back into shape with a hammer!!

seriously you mob, what do you think of these prop safe devices?? I wonder how much drag they create. They would be worth their weight in gold when the Daly is low or exploring new waterways.

They're not worth a knob of goat shite!

All they do is tear your cav plate off or rip thru your skeg!

Anywhere else I'd stick with the alloy for price reasons, but with the Daly and the sheer amount of junk that can dust your prop real easy I'd be moving up to a S/S. Especially seeing as you fish it more than most, some would say you get more than your fair share!
