WANTED - Spare Prop
After seeing someone down the east doing a quick prop change, then reading shanes post, thought it might be a good idea and get my ass into gear and put a spare prop in the boat. I have a 70 Evinrude on the back, so if anyone wants to part with a spare at a reasonable price, just let me know.
Cheers,
Brad

here's one MAAATE!!! you just have to tap it back into shape with a hammer!!
seriously you mob, what do you think of these prop safe devices?? I wonder how much drag they create. They would be worth their weight in gold when the Daly is low or exploring new waterways.

No doubt it's just a matter of time though, would it be worth while spending the xtra $$ and get a stainless??

Anywhere else I'd stick with the alloy for price reasons, but with the Daly and the sheer amount of junk that can dust your prop real easy I'd be moving up to a S/S. Especially seeing as you fish it more than most, some would say you get more than your fair share!punter wrote:Just thinking ahead BlinkyBlinky wrote:What happened Punter?..........one of those Daly River nasties get you?punter wrote:Anyone got a prop to suit a 30hp Mariner?

Yep I have 3, gonna need them all. Might have use them as projectiles when unscrupulous boat yard owners drive past!
