i hit the daly yesterday for a quick sesh, fished two hours of the run in tide and did alright, 2 small ones around the legal size mark (one on fly one on a plastic) then caught a 114cm barra on a hardbody, that was followed a short time later by a 103 on the fly rod.

here's some pic's. (Dont have a brag mat pic of the 103, but i can take a snapshot of the video that we took of it when i get the footage of my mate, it's clearly a mtr+ fish anyway)

my mates on the boat dropped a few fish around the same size, so there was lot's of mtr+ fish around.


didnt see any other boat's doing very good. other than rat's of the troll and sub 60-50's on live bait.

Nice. You must have been a lot further down stream than me yesterday looking at the water colour. Only managed a 99 and a 74 but water was much greener.

what's ya boat look like? i would have seen you i recon, water got better later in the day on the tides, the boys i went out with had a 99 spit the hooks at the boat, not realiseing it was free the dumbshit did one last jump and ended up free jumping into the boat!

Going to be honest, manton photo and other items previously posted frustrated the F out of me BUT that is a great fish,well done AND I think you may of even ripped yourself off a few cm's looking at the last picture. Nice 1.

fish was too fat to worry about the extra cm's. to much effort to get her not wonkey and bang on 0, far to heavy!
