Well as i am off down to South Aust. int he monring and some of the gusy were discussing the possibility of another south trip this new years i thought i would throw it up and see what the reaction is.
I have looked at the tides and the harbour is at 2238 on the 30th which should have high at the south ramp at just after 3 am. Should be a safe bet for a 4 or 5 am run down the river to arrive just in time for sun up.
Return trip on new years day is a high at the mouth at around 1330 putting us at the ramp for the high at around 1630 - perfect.
Only possible dampener will be the weather.
I am unsure if ill get back but i will stay in touch with 2 rods and see how i go.
Cheers
Shane
