Yep spot on there tatie

The other thing is don't bother with the old wives tail of "urinating on the area affected" as it does nothing so the doctor told us in the first aid instructors course that I did a few years back.

General rule of thumb...stings from marine creatures will generally respond better to warm water/pack.....

Must agree with previous comments....EVERYONE...should do a first aid course. In some places overseas its part of getting a drivers licence :o

I got stung in shoal bay through my work trousers. They were soaked with saltwater but I didnt realise you could get stung through wet clothing. Not sure how long the tenticle had been across my leg but it shows its possible to get stung when covered.

Had a couple brush past my feet while walking through the surf at Pococks the other weekend. Still hurts even when they just graze you. :banghead:

Talk to walkabout, while bobbing with his boy in the harbour he got stung a few times. Also when he was doing laps around his unmaned boat
