Went crabbin in Lizzie today! Let the pots soak a few hours then did a bit of trolling and what do you know my mate that's up here hooked a ............ Friggin blue swimmer crab!!!! WTF
Is this real I was thinking??
Went to check the pots later and sure enough......... Another blue swimmer :?

Is this a regular thing for the harbor?

They don't get real big in the harbour, unfortunately.

Yeah ok just was a bit weird I thought! Have caught them off beaches up here but not in the harbor

i used to chase them down south. great tucker.
but with so many muddies available, i just chuck em back now

Get them over west arm a bit

last time put pots in over there got 7 in two pots no muddies
