Crabbings not hard mate, some areas will look the good and some wont. My advice would be try and get places no one else goes. At the moment its easy crabbing in the harbour, easy to get 10 + per trip.

Well, well, well...
After posting about chopping the thieving mongrels hands off and using them for crab bait for stealing my steal pot,
My missing steal pot miraculously re-appeared the following arvo in the exact same spot  Minus the bait and catch :fubird:

Or made of a wooden type material with millions of green tags on a rising tide holding a float under the water.

Or people putting pots in the main current with too shorter rope or smaller floats.

Some of the common reasons people loose pots and blame it all on theivs. Have a look at buffalo creek on a low after 7m springs and there are pots wrapped around trees every where. :bonk:

Theiving does happen as well but these are some things to keep in mind as a reason as well.
Another trap for young players is putting too big a float. What this does is make the pot drag when the tide rips and some times start to roll up the rope around the pot.

Chuck the float in the trees or tie them onto a branch. Hide around the corner with a 30/30
A mans boat is a sign of his strengths and weaknesses???? (and wealth)
