I've got a 265 Powabeam 70 watt HID handheld for the boat. Absolute magic but its a couple of hundred $. Outperforms a couple of 100 watt HIDs on the car.
I agree with Shepps about the Hanma LED lightbars. I've got a 240 watt version from the young fella on this forum who brought a shipment in about 12 - 15 months ago.
Great light out to about 150 metres. $450 or thereabouts from memory.
I think he's gone into selling them fulltime.

Hey Ronje, yea sorry mate, h/held version. do you think its better to get the h/held or a HID torch?
