I believe you are right Harmsey, thats why I put the same sterndrive thats in that Quinnie into my old girl, getting around 3km per lt out of a heavy plate 6m boat @35-40kph. Bit noisier than the average 4 stroke though, still some work to do there.

I'm seriously looking at an Arvor 20 at the mo'. A bit slow at 17-20 knots but sooo economical at around 8-10 liters per hour.
