Re: Shady capers
Seems to be happening a bit too often lately, was out the front on the reef the other day and just happened to look up and see the remains of a flare being let off, pulled the anchor and headed over to the boat, was the pro line fisherman, said he'd been there for a day without battery power, he'd tried rewiring the battery cables of the outboard but every battery was dead flat, ended up giving his deckie (arrived the day before they left from VIC) a ride back to the barrage where we got seriously hosed from a good storm, half way back on the dirt there was a boat loaded on a tilt tray not too sure what happened but looked like it had suffured a fair bit of damage,

Yeah we went over and seen old mate pro, had a spare battery which we used to get him going, must of had a short in wiring under floor, I kept his battery in my boat and gave her some charge then swapped back over in the morning, the other bloke we passed on the road in a prado and blue fibre glass boat with 140hp Suzuki said he swerved to miss a buff and ended up rolling her, boats a mess and car ain't to good either, he had a tilt tray on way out , he was def a bit shook up, helped him clean his poop up off road and kept going, pretty eventful night really.
