another locked thread coming up.
Sorry but it is getting a bit old like the Martins and the Coys almost.
The thread will be fine...
As long as the truth don't come out...
Then it will probably be locked...
Because the ones involved will get all sad and humiliated..
We can't have that now can we...

Its not a big deal just another accident on the water

You’re right Nomad, no big deal, but could be a bl..dy expensive one.

Failure to report $5k
New engine & hull repair $$$$

Now if the boat was out of Survey – then I guess an insurance claim could be void.

Report of Accident or Other Occurrence
Note:
Section 117 of the Marine Act states that:
The master of a vessel which, when in the Northern Territory, or whose next port of call is at a port of place in the
Territory:
(a) is involved in or causes an accident or collision;
(b) receives damage which renders or is likely to render it unsafe;
(c) has been in great danger from the act of some other vessel;
(d) has been in danger of wreck or collision;
(e) fouls or does damage to a pipeline, submarine cable or marine navigational aid;
(f) is involved in an incident in which the sea is polluted by oil or by any noxious substance either by it or by
another vessel; or
(g) being a vessel other than a fishing vessel, having left a port or place in the Territory, puts back to that port
or place,
shall, as soon as practicable thereafter, report the event in writing to the Director.
FAILURE TO COMPLY CARRIES A PENALTY OF $5000

Yeah, cheers for that Nomad.

I wonder if he did?

If someone from the public reported the incident to Maritime Authority, then there may be some please explain questions asked.

Seriously, WTF is wrong with everyone? All I see when I log onto this forum is drama from Dundee. Keep your business related shite off here. It's getting f.cken old.

If it does nothing to help others then its not worth posting

When I worked on the GBR, my skipper had a saying, "there are 2 kinds of skippers up here, those that have hit the reef, and those that are gunna" keep that in mind while bagging people, I've spent a night in the howard watching the water go away.....how many others have found sand, reef or mud?

Well said BC. Thanks for your amazing input of late. I use to enjoy reading your posts, you used to add an amazing amount of input to this site. Hell, you have even given me some great advice whilst we have talked at Dundee. This doesn't excuse the shite you have been carrying on with on here. Just saying that I think a bloke like you shouldn't have to enter into a debate with another tour operator, just seems pathetic...

i've lost thousands of dollars this season of personal items this... to say i'm slightly pissssed off is an understatement...
stand in front of me and call me a bonehead....
everyone is a man on the keyboard... i got nothing to prove... but what i say on here i can back up...

Not an issue mate. I'm not worried to voice my opinions face to face. If you are willing to call me names to my face then be prepared to receive it back. I've been sworn at and abused by much harder men then you, so please don't try and intimidate me and be an Internet warrior. You should take compliments when you get them mate...

Come on boys – play nice.

This could have been nipped in the bud right at the beginning.

If HT had of said something like “what a day – hit a bombie at roach. Clients all ok. Boat’s a bit f#cked up.

Then where could this have gone
