Honda generator fuel tank

Post by ronje »

Hello all

Here's something we found useful this year.

We were getting about 9 hours running off a standard Honda genie.

With the extra tank we got 2 days running meaning that overnight trips were possible without having to get somebody to look after genie.

Great idea!

Think that the extender tanks are made by Engel. Well worth the money. Probably any other tank will work providing u have the right connector to go on genie.

 G'day FFFrs , my mate put me onto this a while ago , all the adaptor fitting can be found on eBay , they are Aussie made and sell for memory at $100 , the same mob also have a fitting that scews into the oil tank so when changing oil you don't get no spill .
The fuel tank can be any type of tank , most use a boat one as long as it has the standard fuel connector you find on most outboard motors
Hope this helps
Cheers
