Can you still use the boat ramp there?
Or have the military put a stop to it?

You have always had to sign in with someone from the defense force as far as I know, used to launch there all the time with a old mate

You use to be able to drift and flick along the main Larrakeyah rock wall which was good for picking up snapper, barra and pelagics. They are now enforcing the no fish rule within 200 metres of rock wall; this also includes defence members even though you show your id or tell the guards what you are doing. The No fish zone is also detailed in the NT Fish Finder. Larrakeyah boat ramp rock wall is still accessible; however, I think they lock the gates to the entrance now after 6pm.

Correction Scott12345 unless there is an exercise happening there it is accessible, defence members can sign out the key to the gate from the security office.

Not permitted to cross the imaginary line between the end of the two rock walls. Got carried away chasing Queenies this arvo/evening and Wilson Security guy gave me the heads up.
