The south boat ramp

Post by Castamasta »

Hi guys
Was thinking of heading for a fish to the South Alligator, was wondering what tides do i need due to the mud bank there. Only in a 4.4mtr boat. Any advice would be great , Cheers.

We pulled the boat out at roughly 1pm Sunday just gone. Tide was heading in there. Wouldn't have got in any earlier. Tide in Darwin at the time was roughly 5.4m and an hour after high tide.

Hope this rain gives that mud bar a shove. Ron Voukelos was telling me that the mud bar at the ramp was common through the 90s an 00s, we've been lucky for most of the last 10 years I guess.
