Re: La Nina watch - might be another good Wet
So much for "The Big La Nina Wet" in central Q.
DEc 21...........36mm
Jan 22...........61 mm
Feb 22..........60 mm
Mar 22..........98 mm
Apr 22..........0 mm
Total......255mm over4 months.
Only 2 days into April so far so there's a chance that the heavens may open and we get 10 - 15 mm.

Yes, it looks like the La Nina is not a reliable predictor of big Wets. Except perhaps for East Coast.
I think the last really good La Nina Wet for the NT was 2010/11?
BOM still says northern rainfall is trending upward on the long term but it is hard to believe.
Meanwhile, looks like some knockemdowns moving across Top End ...

Further, this graphic shows that the East Coast did seem to get the monsoon as it spun around and back ...
