OK,OK, OK, Finches 0 points, BOM 10 Points, Kai MINUS 10 points. I concede defeat, Totally.
Adelaide river up 3.2 m. At 4m. old bar and kitchen will get wet, AGAIN. River rising at a consistent 30 mm per hour.
Short note only, heaps of work to be done. Kai.

He was on abc radio yesterday arvo, said he had 1.3mtr of water in the kitchen, he was sitting in his new bar safe and dry, sounded like he was in good spirits, but when isn’t he.

Re: Crimson finches, next monsoon and Dumb Blonde.
What a bastard of a flood, second worst in my 14+ years here. Yes. 1.3 m in old bar/kitchen, 200 mm thru all rooms, but no major damage or loss from that, just a LOT of cleaning now. But severe damage to pontoon, will not be able to be used for a while, it did however hang together, is securely tied up. When level drops a bit more, at present 1/2 m below old bar floor,IE; 3.5 m above standard high tide, and now only dropping 200 mm/24 hours as there is an awfull lot of water in flood plains that got to drain out first. As I started, when level drops further here, I will need someone with good welding skills to help with some welding of pontoon, but need to asses full damage first, and still 4-5 days away.
Once again a BIG thank you to Grumpy for all his help, and also all the others that has been giving me a hand at various stages,[ bound to forget 1 or 2 if I start naming, sorry] THANK YOU ALL.
As mother always said," Nothing that bad that it ain't good for something", and 2 good wet's in a row surely will give good fishing. Anyone comming past here, PLEASE... slow down to trawl speed,NOT 1/2 speed giving twice the wake, thank you.
All for now, back to cleaning, just thought I'd give an update.
Kai.

Well there'll be no more of those shenanigans now. Bad luck Kai, that must have been awful.

Not nice when anyone looses a loved pet.Matt Flynn wrote:RIP Dumb Blonde .... http://www.ntnews.com.au/news/northern- ... ca893d3d52
Though, I have more of an opinion on this but will wait to air my opinion.

Hot Dog (Kai's previous pet) was obviously a smarter animal.
