2018 Early Build UP Early Wet

Post by b-radical »

So I'm looking forward to the build up and rain/storm season and when i say it people look at me funny like are you serious what is wrong with you :?

Probley because they like to be on the couch in aircon at this time of year (Prob don't fish) where i find the cracking thunder and ribbiting frogs going crazy quite relaxing and awesome at the same time

Looking at last years records for Darwin via BOM Sept Nil, Oct 100mm, Nov 174mm, Dec 183mm and Jan 893mm

I'm thinking it'll be earlier again this year.

Whats everyone else thoughts? Or are you dreading the sweaty crouch and build up fishing conditions with water temps rising and everything going green and lush again

cheers

Bring it on I say. I've felt an early build up is on the way for some time and not based on any science or statistics but a gut feeling. I've got no idea really but for fishing its one of my favourite periods so if anyone suggests an early build up I say ya baby!

Hopefully it’s better than last years buildup. It was good to get a early set, but the winds didn’t stop blowing all build up.
