Not all people visit this site Daily.
Posts under the Recent Post lists for General Fishing Posts, and Recent Non-Fishing Posts can stay visible for a Month or Longer, because there is not many new Posts.
Posts under Northern Fishing Posts can disappear in 2 Days or less, depending on the amount of New Posts.
I think all new Posts under " Northern Fishing Posts " should stay visible for at least a Week.
It would allow more interest, from more people.
I personally, only look at the list on the side now, when I log on.
So I do not get to see all of the latest information.
Just a thought.

These may be of use if you are not using them already. The northern posts disappear quickly from Recent Topics because there are so many of them.

I must admit, that is how I have found responses to other Posts I have made.
I have not used, the read unread post link before, because I figure that List is going to be too long, assuming it is going to go back months and years.
I will have to check it out.
