what do we all think about putting members in jail for posting obscenities or just generally cr.p posts??? lately i have noticed a lot of useless 1 liners or threads that just dont make scence, and now porn
i love reading this site but lately it is getting harder and harder to sort through the . is there some way we as members can vote or request someone gets jailed for doing the wrong thing?? as i work for the NT gov its only a matter of time until someone post something that is gunna upset a NT gov moderater and this site will be "deemed un-nessesary" and many of us wont have acsess to this site at work which will suck

Agreed - posted a few hints at some of the posts that you are talking about but they still seem to be showing up - i too dont want to loose access to this from work - i mean after all i might actually have to do something then - - heaven forbid -

Re posts - definitely no porn. I'm not keen on anything showing violence or gross stuff. Re the two fat girls post - I don't think that rates as porn, it may be a little offensive to some but it is really just a couple of fat bums.

Yes, it is best to stick to fishing related topics, although we have provision here for all subject matter.

I don't like censorship and censoring matters of taste or value is difficult so I am loathe to start chopping posts for that reason.

Some members feel there are frivolous posts clogging the system so all members should take note.

However, those who are new or have been reluctant to post, don't let this stop you having a go. We are keen to hear all opinions.

Let's say for now that anything potentially offensive such as porn, violence and gore will get the flick and possibly earn the poster time in the forum clink. If a post is just dull or frivolous, I'm going to leave it alone.

I might try a system where members can rate posts. That way posters will see if they are hitting the spot or missing the mark.

With Matt being the big boss man and I his loyal servant I will remove any porn that people put up.... his site his rules

At least there has been no one fighting over live baiting for a while which is great to see.

The new rating system that Matt has put in should help to sort out what is worth looking at and what is some of the posts of late have been just a waste of time IMHO. That being said some other users think they are fine ??:
