Merging posts - moderators only

Attention FFF Moderators
I have had a mod installed that allows posts to be merged. Merging is required when two people post separately about the same topic, which happens quite often when there is "breaking news".
Instructions
1. Go to the topic you want to merge.
2. Scroll down to the bottom and click the small button that looks like a sideways hourglass within a circle.
3. Click "Search" beside the blank field for which topic to merge with (Destination Topic), and then in the list of topics click the little radio button beside the topic title.
4. Click Submit once you're sure you're doing what you intended.
Note: When selecting a destination topic in a different forum than the topic you start with you MUST use the little dropdown (jumpbox) on the right to change forums. Clicking forum index or any other link will mean you have to go Back or start over, as the radio buttons won't show for selecting the topic.
It becomes less complicated than it sounds after the first go,
