Viral attack at FF home page

Hey Admin People

twice today, on two different PCs, when I've selected the FF home page from a google search on "fish finder forum", I've had viral attacks, once of which is the xporn.avi one

I'm a bit PC illiterate when it comes to virus software and actions, so I've gone "back", "forward" and it's gone away and gone back to the home page, but I may have infected those 2 PCs now? oops...

My internet time at work is blown today, so if you want to discuss this today, just email me direct - [email protected]

cheers

If it happens again get a screen capture of it,, that will make it a lot easier for Matt to chase down,, Just a thought for you

If it is a site found off Google it could be anything, it could be a site that just comes up from using our search words.

The simple way to get here and avoid attack sites is to type www.fishingterritory.com into your browser which makes you go straight to FFF, and then bookmark us.

I'll have FFF checked again but it is unlikely there are any viruses on our web pages.

That said, there are hacking attempts 100% of the time - it is a minefield out there.

thanks Matt,

I do have it bookmarked, but when i'm at someone else's PC and want to log in and show them something, I never remember the URL

I definately chose your URL from the google search though

anyways, will screen dump the message if it happens again

cheers
