Good day out

Finally managed some time to get my boat on the water on Monday morning.
Went for an early start but had to wait until 6.30 to dodge the early storms we are getting at the moment.
launched at east arm and ran over to fish reef.
Not to bad a trip, charles was its usual lumpy but a good run for the boat.
Fished my usual drops around the reef but could not even lose a bait.
trawled around for a while but with no birds working even the reliable queenies were gone.
On the turn of the tide tried some more marks for one small jewie for 3 hrs fishing. :x
had enough so decided to head back to charles for a fish.
On the way back noticed a storm forming over there so decided to try one more drop while waiting for the weather to clear.
Straight up a couple of big goldies, salmon, cod and the usual small stripies and red fish.
Got bricked a couple of times with unstoppable things.
Went off for about 45 mins before slowing down. 8)
With the weather clearing up decided to run back in on glassed out conditions.
Had to retrieve the boat at east arm without the pontoon by myself.
Something we all did before the pontoons were installed, it was easier than i thought
How quickly we get use to something but hope to see it back soon.
