Home made jigs

Well with being flat out with work and it raining when I want to fish got bored and got some old fly tying gear out. Decided to make some jigs, gotta get some more colours done up good relaxing time making them with a cold one. Will hopefully give them a whirl when weather clears up.

When I get sick of making these will be time to raid the cutlery I reckon :)

love your work ,they look the goods .i watch tat show big angry fish and he was testing his new scutes on their snapper .yours should do well

Cheers guys, tangels they are 1/2 and 1/4’s as that’s all I had in tackle box at the time. If they go alright might have to do some with heavier jig heads for the reefs. Al57 funny enough watched the show last week and thought I’ve got he gear to make jigs what the hell I will make some can’t hurt haha

Thanks Dennis, only had a quick shot at swimming one of the pink and white ones looked good in water.
Here’s a few more done today. These ones are on 3/8 heads will do some in some heavier stuff for Bluewater jigging.

looking great ,i reckon one with white silver fleck,tiny red feather under jighead and with a black feather tail would imitate a baitfish nice
