darwin harbour fishing

Post by pelletouse »

Good morning everyone.
I wanted to share my trip from last saturday. We left early morning with my mate on my future boat (It is going to be mine next tuesday, when i will leave). So we've been out at lee point for the last few weekends and did have fun, catch all sort of fish trevally, mackerel, queenfish, cod, coral trout. We were looking for tuna but couldn't find any. So last saturday we decided to change our fishing location and go for a fun day in the harbour. So, we managed to get some really nice trevally 6 in total between 3 to 5.5KG( i decided to keep 3 for a nice dinner, I made some fish cakes and the rest grill on the barbie).
The trevally on the picture are between 4.5 to 5.5KG.
I'll keep you posted next week, i might go around lee point on saturday and monday, i hope we will get some nice fish.
Cheers
