I was out 31/1/2018 between oil rigs found these rope's are these pests as
they came on foreign floats.

Need better photos and probably a marine biologist or equivalent to accurately identify them. I however know that if you leave ropes and floats in the water long enough anywhere in Australian waters you will get very similar growth. Usually only takes 2 weeks for similar growth to take hold on the East Coast

I meant musells not scallops. Hadn't had a beer when I said scallops.
