I come accros this the other day about placement of new artificial reefs. Might be worth while being involved.
fish aggregating devices - Have your say
The Northern Territory Government is investing $50 million over five years to improve recreational fishing opportunities.
As part of this commitment, a scoping study is being undertaken to investigate the potential of artificial reefs and fish aggregating devices to aid in the recovery of at risk reef fish.
The consultants have mapped large potentially suitable areas in the Greater Darwin Region, from Cape Scott to the west of Darwin to Point Stuart in the east, including the Tiwi and Vernon Islands and are seeking public feedback on preferred locations.
Have your say
Have your say on where you think artificial reefs and fish aggregating devices should be placed to boost recreational fishing opportunities and support long-term sustainability.
Go to the online Preferred Locations Public Survey
Enter locations where you think artificial reefs or fish aggregating devices should be placed
Survey closes 19 February 2018.
