Good luck JAH. Went out that way a month back and the road was mint. Looks like they are onto it these days as the last few times we've been out its been like a highway.

came back last week. road from cahill's to 3 ways was average. road from 3 ways to coburg turn off was really good. road from coburg turn off into black point was cr.p!

on the way back the grader had just started on the coburg road so should be all good now though.

Thanks for the info guys.

The road from Cahills to the turn off is always cr.p so to hear its average is good,I'll take that.As for the rest of the report u beauty.

We will be staying in the Jenny camp ground.White extra cab Hilux with a black 4.85 cj if anyone up there at the same time come over and say hello.

Is it worth going out there on really big tides?

Tides up there are very small. You can hardly notice the tide changes on heaps. Less then 1/2 m differences. Springs you only get like 1.5 m mac from my experience
