Well, headed out to bathurst for a spot of OZ day fishing festivities. No better way to spend the national holiday, right?
Headed of later than usal around 10.30pm friday night seas were calm and with big expectations
Good trip over weather was perfect. Pulled up the first drop a few hours later. First 3 fish, JEWYS!! Picked up some nice Goldies, Jewys and the powertails were thick
Fished all night had the esky well and truly on the way. Few sherberts and we were cooking breakfast.
Decidided to chase a few more goldies a first light and they didnt let us down. Got some good fish.
Chased the jews, landed a few Had a good day pulled up bunk early
Next morning woke up to te feel of goldies on the end of the rod. had another good session then went up the creek and got a few jacks and muddies.
No barra
Time to head for home. Had plenty of fish, few beers. Caught a storm on the way home but the weather was overall great.
Cheers..
