Finally a scoring fish! The Deckie picked up a 91 on a big green bomber out at Finke bay creek system over the weekend. Water was pretty dirty and the wind picked up around 14:00, it was a great day out.

Picked up this 80cm on a vibe, had recently been bit on the tail but got away from a predator.

Nice fish
Used the ramp at point Stuart what a mess with swell around.
Should be OK with offshore winds, shame the wet season is the best fishing time for barramundi and less likely to have offshore winds.

REMINDER ALL

This round finishes Dec 20.

Tentative final scores attached, will give it until Dec 31 for appeals and error corrections and then it is set in stone and I will put up a separate winners thread.

Not much between scores at the top! Congrats again to all who got fish.

I will need postal addresses for all winners, and those who won Tonic eyewear I will need your choice of frame and lens colour.

Cheers Matt. Jeez it got tight! I went to Shoal Bay twice over the high last week to try to eke out a few more cm but all I got was rats and cod
Cheers to the sponsors too!

The BRAG Mat Competition would have to be one of THE comps in Aus.

Well run, member assisted and participation over an extended period with excellent sponsors

Been a lousy couple of years for everybody so congratulations to all.

I've had a couple of extra things happening as well. That's the reason for nobody from CQ in the last couple of comps.

However........those things are behind now (I hope) so I'll be all bright-eyed and bushy tallied for the next comp hopefully with a worthy competitor from Qld.

Ronje
