Oh and if you’ve been feeling the chill up there, check the guides on my rod. Without my glasses I assumed I had tied a terrible FG with a big tag. Was having trouble pulling it through the guides until it finally stopped. Each retrieve brought more water (balmy 14 degrees) on the line which gathered in the eyes until finally freezing solid.

I loved it, even though I couldn't manage to fool a fish. Many years since I've felt cold like that. Only realized when I got home that there are no photos of me to prove that I went fishing :lol:

But I wish you told me before hand that a thousand casts were needed. I made 999 :lol:

Been getting stuck into the Harbour Tuna these last few weekends, got 15 fish one morning with plenty of double and triple hookups. great fun on a 4kg spin stick!

Went out to Leaders Creek on 23/6 and fished out towards Gunn Point for some 'Live Action'
