Went to the Adelaide on Wednesday, launched from the car park with the water lapping the top of the ramp, headed upstream onto the the floodplains, plenty of water still to drop into the river, no barra but some nice cherabin kicking about,

Cut my last trip really short because the live bait tank drain snapped off and the bilge pump could only just keep up. Thank god it didn't happen during the night when storm-o-sauris hit us. An hour of non stop lightning and rain coming in sideways

Thongs plus filleting knife equals temporary bung in future. Dunno why you wouldn't have bodged it up for the next few days and then stayed out for the rest of the trip.

Glad u made it back in.

Not everyone is as hard as you. Plus we didn't realize that was the problem until virtually back at the ramp. I also couldn't get access to the inside of the hole without some major surgery done to the deck. Not worth the risk considering the storm we went through the previous night. What if the bilge stopped working?

River was rising - not many creeks flowing the right way - Last Cast looked the best of a bad bunch.
