Day 19 ... no mackies around?

Been that windy the fish have been swimming backwards to keep the waves out of their face.

Fellas in Mackay told me the same re wind

Had a crack at a mackie yesterday at lee point, didn't even see one. I got a few trevally and a massive ray on vibes.
So today I went to a high tide harbour spot for 2 hours and got 17 barra to 58cm on a gold suspender

Don't forget your location shot Theodosius ... and 17 barra in July is a good day out!

Day 23 of Round 5 and all's quiet on mackie front, looks quiet on FB too.

No location shot, was to busy hooking em! I also thought I'd get a bigger one
If you need to verify where it was I do have other photos and exif data

Doesn't have to show spot, just has to be captor holding fish after capture.

"In the event of a draw, each entry that includes a photo of the fish being held by the captor will earn an extra point, but this will only apply for the purposes of breaking a draw"
I don't mind if it's disqualified but sounds fine by the rules

Thought I had a line in there somewhere about a location shot, everything is a blur

Day 26 folks, and no dry season mackies? Hope the Queensland Fisheries managers aren't reading this page ...

Some guides seem to be getting a few but it's not like the last 3 dry seasons where there were heaps around

51cm is the best I could manage in the billabongs.

Got this one yesterday 102cm, lost a couple of bigger fish to the sharks
