Post your Round 1 (March) entries on this thread.

Barramundi and threadfin this month.

Rules and registrations here ... fff-seadogs-2019-barramundi-brag-mat-co ... 42020.html

Going to be an interesting comp, given the weird wet season.

Taken flicking the flats trying for metre plus threadies busting up on tiny prawns. No monster but none the less I'm on the board and its only day 2 .... it's got me stuffed how people could get nothing for 11 months ???

My selfie with the fish was definitely not the best effort :bonk:

but I will probably have an upgrade shortly though

So i went fishing the day after my birthday as the tides were better than Saturday. I reckon anyway. I caught a bunch of fish with 4 under size a nice cod and three small blue salmon which i released. Should have taken a pic of the salmon.
I forgot the brag mat as it got taken out for some welding work in Dec. Still thefe are 4 measurement stickers on the boat.
It is always hard when you fish on your own to land big fish and the even harder to take the required pictures of the fish. So lets see if this gets through the judges.

I landed a 95cm fish that i measured on the side of the boat where the other fish was photographed. Of course i needed 2 hands to hold her so no photo on the measure. I have a selfie on the deck with the paper. I have a pic on the esky. I then have the brag mat on the esky.
There is no way to do a selfie with a fishing spot in the background with a big girl like this. So is it acceptable or do i just get 69 so far this month.

So let the discussion begin. Is it acceptable or should i risk the health of a big girl for a photo. Brag mat is back in the boat now. At least i remembered the paper.

Hit shady today Friday 15 March 2019. Struggled like most with only two boats landing fish in the morning. Ended up trying the barrages before coming home and ended up wtoh 7 to 69cm
So here is my march entry for now. Forgot the brag mat so only had the measuring sticker.

Are the stickers acceptable Matt?

Slight upgrade from out Gunn point way

: inhaled a 6 inch STRADA cast along the protection of the nearby trees. This fish was hooked and landed whilst waiting for his mangrove jack mate wrapped in foil to finish cooking on the coals .... yep, it's a tough life I know, but someones got to do it :drinking28:

Some nice fish

Yes, NT Govt measuring stickers are OK, they would have to hold up legally so don't see a problem.

Suggest folk get their stickers/brag mats/photos skills up to scratch, saves losing a good points fish on an appeal :catch:
