Managed to pick up this 97cm beauty on the troll, with a big bomber, in a coastal area east of Darwin :lipsrsealed:

Nice strong silver fish, released to fight another day. Oh what a feeling!

Best fish from a fairly quiet trip to Anson. All my trips are quiet lately. Fish wise that is, they seem to be pretty eventful at breaking stuff. Motorguide and transducer this time. :banghead:

Anyway, 86cm on a Too Deadly, it was a good fun session on surface lures at night. My favorite way to catch a Barra.

After several ordinary performances at Shady recently decided to check out the Mary's fresh water. Other than the heat being energy sapping it turned into a fun afternoon with a nice mix of Barra, togas and tarpon. We got a number of fish in the sixties and they were so fat they struggled to clear the water. Biggest came in at 68.

To all Seadogs entrants

I will only accept entries of fish on brag mats, I can't accept tape measure shots or brag mat shots that don't show the actual measurement clearly.

Also, landbased shots must show that the fisho is landbased with the fish, unfortunately your photo Flicken4em could have been taken in a boat. I know you aren't pulling a swifty, but the rules are rules.

Also, must have a current (for the month) newspaper in the shot, no time stamps.

I suggest everyone goes through the rules on the registration page. While I want it to be an easy-going comp, the rules must be followed.

Regardless of where it was caught it's a nice fish, so well done.

I would've given you 88 for it if it was correctly processed. But it wasn't.

Better luck/management next time.

Flickn has sent me a pic of his LB fish without the crop (doesn't want the spot revealed), the pic is legit so that one's good to go.

Great fish, I am baffled by the secrecy tho, considering the barny over naming other people's spots ...

Got this fella down the Daly on a 2 dayer with a few mates. Tough hot conditions, caught about 30 rats but dropped quite a few. Fish pictured was caught on a reidys 4 inch hard body and was a very fat fish. Water is very low.

Cairns has had bulk rain this March. First time we've had rain like this for 5 years. There's only a couple of swampy areas that host fish during dry years & this fat fella has definitely been sitting in one for the last few years.

This is the fattest salt fish I've ever caught and I got 2 nearly identical this month. Forgot to get a pic of the first one holding it :bonk:

This one went 104.
