My decky cleaned up I got bugger all but in early as boat in shop for repairs.

Got this 92cm baby last weekend on a vibe in shoal bay. It Was actually a slow session with only one other Barra landed at 73.

Slim pickings this month but scored a nice chrome 65cm Barra during a stay at Crab Claw the last couple of days.

I've been talking up the harbour virtually the whole dry but so far this month its been disappointing including a NO fish trip a couple of weeks ago. I'm putting it down to dirty water caused by that annoying wind. Anyway here's a 64 from yesterday. Got three legal fish but it was hard work. The third photo is to highlight why you need strong hooks and split rings for Barra. This fish fought like a energetic 80. Bent trebles and a stretched split ring. It was only bit of skin that stayed connected to the lure. Lucky for me but very unlikely for the fish!

Just avoiding a donut this round by getting a quick trip to the barrage yesty.(Boat is out of action at the moment)

Caught & released this solid 86cm on a classic bananafish from SWA today, a few smaller models from the wilshires as well.

hit the vic for the weekend, we had a good trip. will post a trip report.
my decky got a nice 90cm, biggest for the trip, my buggest was 86cm, we bagged out and brought home a feed for a few mates.
i got another decent fish on the 1st october but didnt have a newspaper for the 1st yet.
