Re: Show us your biggest Brown or Rainbow TROUT
Trout, my one true passion in life, i've fished all over Australia but the unique lure of trout fishing is something that'poop me harder than any other fish.
stalking a wild mountain stream, something out of a movie or postcard, slowly making you're way from pool to pool and the river winds its way threw some of the best countryside you can look at, every pool and run looks better than the last and there's that "lure" of whats around the next corner? what pools are around there? and what fish are hiding in them?
trout fishing is what you make of it, for me it become a form of hunting, i wasent standing on the river flicking lure's, i was crouched down actively stalking a prey, always out of sight and always on the hunt of the fish sitting in clear run's and deep pool's
my dream is to head back down to vic and guide on the trout one day. specializing in small stream's

Nice trout Camfish, I hear what you are saying about trout, as soon as I get our farm sorted I am into it! The pictures have fired me up.
So many contrasts between barra and trout fishing, both completely enjoyable for different reasons.
I was fishing a stretch last month and thinking "howz the serenity" and also "where are the bl..dy fish" and I heard a low rumble, looked downstream and six quad bikes appeared from around the bend, coming up the river
