Elizabeth Valley Road culvert

Post by NinjaFish »

Went for a bit of a look see this morning after this mornings rain and for a few LB flicks.

A bit early here just yet I reckon, but they do show up. I was there last year when a Sheila landed a 60cm model - It was her 3rd in 2 days!

For the serious culvert fishos, check this link out;

There was a 10ft punt there chained up this morning..no motor. Methinks it was being used for heading downstream n doing some netting. Was also an ice-bag full of sand, no doubt used for weighing down an active net. I'm gunna say if that's the case, the boat might and up with a few "leaks."

Captain, last year there was a croc trap in there, pretty much near the road. Maybe it's the rangers tinny to check it down stream a bit??

Don't know if the link will work but someone has admitted to owning the boat saying that their motor has been stolen...

Oh well..unfortunate..but a rookie mistake.. If you have a small motor, on a small tinnie, on the side of the road, in a public space, in a remote area, dont expect it to be there for long... If it was my tinnie, I would have removed the motor, and taken it home, and brought it back to attach when ready to use it next..

Zoom in, you can see a little pipe flowing about 30cm from the top
