Launch wheel setup nearly complete.. Then in for a paint-hob tomorrow....

Lynch-pin setup complete, for rolling and storage positions.. Thanks to these to these furry little ticks as well, for moral support..

With a bit of help from the dremel, I was able to get the 2 piece cowling to fit nicely, as it was sourced thru Precision Marine, but not thru one supplier. Match up nicely now..

would have been good for it on Sunday morning down at Lee Point Captain ... fish bustin up out near the reef for an hour or so ... they threatened to come closer but never did. I was watching for the punt to come rolling over the dunes too ...

Over the dunes swinging a cutlass and pointing the dirk.

I'm waiting for the seat cushions.

Crushed velvet in blue or crimson..... leather with a heavy gold stitch embossed 'Captain' across the length.... or ya gunna steal the cushions from the lounge.

Give us a clue at least Captain.

Arrr... I'd be hoping to steal me lass's Chesterfield chair from the lounge, but I fancy me chances low.....

The Punt trailer gets regoed on Friday! N then boat goes in for a splash of paint probably next week. Then attaching electric motor, n the 3.5 Tohatsu, n all the safety jazz, n then its stalking Barra time!!

All sanded back, and galv'd. Soooo glad for aluminium rims and sealed bearings.

Well folks, punt has undergone a etch primer, both inside and out. And had one coat of Hammer-tone grey on the outside. Now its starting to look like a boat!!
It'll get a hammer-tone coat inside next, and a nice fat-coat outside to finish it off. Then its onto the casting deck and floor carpeting!

1 coat of hammertone paint Inside...ahhh. I love the smell of thinners in the morning!!
