Just a "Dirty Ol' Punt."

Well folks, I figured it was about time I splurged out on a boat of my very own... And the result...this 3.7m flat-bottomed punt, sourced from my friends at AKS welding, and a beastly 3.5hp Tohatsu, hunted down by Mr Tangels...
Thought I'd share some pix with you guys as it progresses.:)

She'll do , I reckon a bigger motor , a 3.5hp will struggle against the spring tides .

But I did my first big trip to Pt Fourcroy in a 3.6mt / 15hp tiny , pick you days and just go for it . 8)

Roger Jeffish. Gunna mainly be for dropping in to fish the calm glassy days, at east point, Lee point, and trailer boat club and Dinah beach ways. But maybe a bigger donk at some point. :)

I had a 3.5hp on a 3.4m dinghy, it could go against the spring tides in Sadgroves Creek, didn't go anywhere in a hurry tho, but just taking your time was part of the fun.

Best part will be being able to carry the punt out of carparks everywhere, and put it straight in the water, rather than line up at boat ramps. Going to make some custom wheels to roll the punt if tide is out too.
