And it's probably not smart to leave your drivers door open and over hanging the road

I went to the next crossing down the road and there were a few very small barra around 200mm long but couldnt get a hookup. plenty of short strikes. Needed to rig up a stinger with a small hook

Gunn Point Road.
Turn off at the Howard Springs lights and keep going until you get to the bridge. If you hit the dirt road you have gone too far.

Did a culvert run this morning after work, water levels have dropped but still plenty of spots for fish to hide, managed 2 small fish of about 30-40cm, hosing down again this afternoon so should top every thing up nicely!

Half your luck mate. Tried several culverts/creeks on Sunday 11th, from dawn to about 9am for nothing (Fly Creek, Old Bynoe Rd, Hopewell Rd, Cox Peninsula Rd etc).

There was lots of rain Friday night so I guess Saturday would've been the day to go, not much on Sat night so not sure if that made Sunday a dud as the water levels seemed a bit low. Only place with water over the road was on Old Bynoe Rd.

Was mainly using ZMan Minnowz (3 inch pearl) with weedless jig, 90mm Squidgy Mongrels (drop bear) & 50mm Squidgy fish (rainbow trout). Any tips on when/where/how (including which SP's to try) to fish the culverts in that area would be greatly appreciated!

& Swoffa - thanks for the PM (for some reason I can't reply). Much appreciated.
