Lakes barra in the evening.

Palmo lakes baz were on this arvo following the drenching rain we got earlier with several boofs behind the lure it was only 10min in when I got this litte fella, a quick pic and thrown back to get a bit bigger. Too easy 150m from my mates verandah.

It had the 4-10lb st croix /stradic ci4 2000 peeling off a bit of line but was pretty easily tamed though ....

Nice one, I hear lake 10 at Durack goes well. Tho last time i went there i couldnt buy a hit.. fly fishing there is the go I reckon.

This rain definitely turns the fish on, they tend to gather at the ends of the lakes where water flows in or out
