Can anyone here suggest how to get to the Finniss mouth by land?

Thats cos theres no track mate. ....

9km of beach to run once you leave stingray head and cross its creek. some of this section can be done behind the dunes but getting to the mouth involves a section of beach quite often it has salty puddles and areas of sand ripples with some prime spots to get bogged too generally a lot of this section is below the high tide mark too...

The last section before the mouth will spray it all over your vehicle, trailer and tinny.and any bare metal areas will be rusted by the next day : hence the beach buggies at all the houses out that way....

Once it's in there salt is almost impossible to get out ERPS, fish oil and lanolin all help to slow the rusting process a bit but I've found nothing that will stop it.

good luck, take a good amount of quality recovery gear to aviod a major disaster : high lift jack, traction aids (maxx tracks) snatch strap/s tow vehicle and air compressor to pump the tyres back up for the drive home :)

It can fish well off the sand right near the mangroves but usually most are barra or salmon are taken on livies and smaller boats <4m can be launched off the sandy bank inside the mouth chuck up a post of the trip if u head out.
