Find the Landbase fishing guide book. It give great areas to try your luck, Some place you'll have to go a few times to work out what tides work. Always remember some areas you can get to at low tide, you can become trapped during the rising tide, always know your time to leave. Talking from experience, not nice wading through waist deep water.

Try down at lameroo beach off the esplanade the rocks on the left on the way back towards the wharf hold a few different species.

Also look out for a yellow scooter.

East Point has ledges that are OK at low tide, bit hot and cold tho.
