Hey guys, have done a lot of searching for new fishing spots in recent weeks. I'm chasing my first legal barra and was just wondering what everyone's favourite barra spots in and around Darwin are. Bamboo Creek has been my best bet but with only undersize caught so far. I would love to catch some a bit closer to town.

Thanks for any advice in advance. :D

Also my friend is selling his 2 month old calcutta 200b with 30lb braid and Silstar Crystal Blue tip rod for $200 if anyone is interested.

Agree with ponyplay..... I have my biggest barra from my secret LB spot 101cm. 90% of the time you come home with a fish.

If you want good info on fishing spots ask at a good fishing store. Buy some stuff from them and they will be happy to give you advice. I find Fishing and Outdoor World in Cavenagh Street to be pretty good on advice, and if they help get you onto fish you are more likely to go back and spend money in that shop they also have pretty good prices too. Also do a search on old posts and you can gather some knowledge that way. Try looking in landbased fishing reports as a start.
