Manton Dam's fishing future in doubt

Talk about bungled boat ramps, net buybacks, marine no-go zones, mining disasters etc here.

Manton Dam's fishing future in doubt

Post by Matt Flynn »

See attached.

Anyone got a postable plan of the proposed new water source "near Adelaide River?"

The relentless tide of 'progress' seems to be hitting a few fishing spots lately ...

I hope if does happen.
If the 3 new dams are for irrigation or agricultural purposes then they can be used for recreational purpose. So all that land around the 2 adjacent to litchfeild it could be come a much bigger park.
Stock poop of them so we can start bragging about catching goldfish in a barrel like those pesky qlders. seems a win win win.
Never in the history nor the future has any one said, we simply have too much water storage. I can’t remember the last dam that was build. Reckon I could count them on it one hand for the last 50 years.
