I can’t really say I am surprised by this. It is a beach launch at the end of the day and will always be weather prone at the least. I don’t know how I would go there now if I were still launching the 3.5 tonne machine there these days. Probably not go or go from Darwin but the tractor was the only way to go or at least retrieve for me. Who would have thought they would be missed , me.
