If a man were to need some bullbar winch steps etc where would it be best to go out of the three bigger boys in town.

I have used ARB a few times and also TJM re bullbars.
The new arb bars dont have any recovery points on them - for my model (much to my surprise when i bought it)
The TJM also have slots to insert the hi lift jack - arb not

ARB were slightly cheaper but im kicking myself now because of the lack of recovery points. Its all to do with air bags etc

What car are you buying for?
The recovery points are generally mounted under the front of the chassis and you can buy them for most vehicles
I like x-rock comp bars personally, depends what it's mainly used for though and what you expect to do with your 4wd

Those 'recovery points' are only tie downs for the boat trip and will rip out if used for recovery.
on older vehicles you could buy a $20 hook and bolt them on.
these days they make super duper points because of the compression things for the air bag.
they quoted my nearly a grand for the specialised one for mt bt50

The yellow recovery points on the xrox look the go. BUT, be careful if you snatch off them because of the air bag trigger.

Like I said nomad you have to buy them extra, every cars different. If you think your going to always be bogged buy some if not then you should be right, or just put a winch on it so if you do get bogged you can get yourself out

I have been through ARB a fair bit - cannot fault them.

The manager last time I was there was Darren and he was a complete professional; across his products, able to assist with your requirements and tailor what you want with what you need.

PS I've got no association to them, just really appreciate good service here in Darwin as it isn't always that easy to find.

Thanks Matt that is the sort of comparison I wanted likely hood of getting stuffed around locally more or less by which out of the three.

opposite lock do some wicked gear .. pricing around the same and actually get up and give u a run down of there products .. seems to be where i go the most.
