NT just had its hottest September - is global warming real?

Will it affect northern fish stocks?

I think its the solar flares , being on their peak this year supposed to be. they go in 10- 13 years cycle. which means, its going to be colder next year , that's after the solar flares peak?
I mean, sun flares. mother sun has been sh..ty lately

Real. But....

I saw a doco about how the worlds axis is on a wobble and has been since the asteroid collision that created the moon. This wobble takes about 26 000 years to complete a full cycle and changes the axis of the earth between 16° and 24°. At the moment we are about 10 00 years into the wobble at 23° which is positioning the equatorial area further off center and will do so for another 3000 years. As a result seasonal changes will be more extreme every year until we reach the peak of the wobble and start to head to a more neutral position. Then seasonal variance will become less.

There fore global warming is inevitable regardless of what anyone's say so. That said we there is no doubt in my mind that humans have added to this effect with greenhouse gas omissions.

1/. "NT just had its hottest September" :- I personally didn't feel a thing?? I would have thought it was quite mild actually - probably still basking in the afterglow of the extremely late dry season conditions (well into late August ..).

2/. I'll fess up to being a 'closet green' - save the planet, hug a tree, if in any doubt don't develop, etc, etc. However .... after watching a few episodes of that fantastic Rise of the Continents series that's just finished airing, I've taken to joining the greedy conservative type thinking of F^%k em all - who gives a toss. The REALLY big long term picture apparently is that irrespective what we do in this (or the next, or the next, etc etc ) generation - Australia is slowly drifting North and will eventually end up ramming Japan into China (taking Indonesia, Philippines with it along the way). Then the suns gunna 'go out' and we'll all freeze to death.

I'm joining Tony Rabbit, Wilhem Westra Wanka, and all the other 'deniers' and just put my head in the sand & join in the raping & pillaging ....

It's real alright.................. And I am sure it is AFANT's fault

2. Fish just move into deeper water.

3. What could possibly go wrong!?

Planet has been getting hotter since it came out of the ice age
Do they really think it's going to stop and get cooler

There is no doubt that its getting hotter. Just wonder how much human input is affecting it. But i suppose we will never know til its to late.

Doesn't matter what we do, nothing is going to stop it.
I think by the time it has any effect on the NT fishing, ill be dead and burnt.
