expanding the reefs

anyway - like you say there are heaps of them and they are modular - ie they can be sunk one at a time using smaller craft to do so. like a small barge. it would only take a few trips and you'd have the current reefs built up.

I think the cars bodies in SA have been there for quite some while. I believe they were are result of illegal dumping some while back but they are superb reefs for the snapper now.
I'll see if I can find out some more details while Im down there.

Was thinking about that sort of thing down at Pioneer Beach at Bynoe. Drag a few of the car bodies to the tidal zone and wire empty 44's to them. Tide will float them off and just tow to your favourite jew hole and sink the drums.

Believe there are a few out that way done similar. Seem to remember Jasonmcc talking about them having no sounder profile but still fishing well.
