They pull pretty good thats for sure,tried eating them slimy buggers to fillet , next to no flavour.

Sorry i don't know many good spots for them pp. And i couldn't be bothered taking pics generally when I get one. I fish with lures nearly 100% these days and generally don't get many bycatch per barra in the ratio of things
When on the jew reef in the narrows we've got some monsters on live mullet on the paternoster rigs in 20m. We don't even bring it onboard to put slime everywhere in the boat.
we get a few in the dams n billabongs too and no doubt manton shady and coroboree would hold a couple of big ones. Also going from the story a while back one about 35kg+ was caught live baiting at lake bennett resort too.
The gold one took a 6'' black n silver nilsmaster trolling deep snags
And this one took a 7'' wedge tail in green n white casting to a barrage runoff in case u were wondering what lures to try.

Plenty of big power tails of here in KNX.
