as temping as it wass to go to the beer can regatta. we had a swim last Sunday in the channel(no current on those tides).

BIG snapper to 9.8kg's made it into the boat. even the small ones were big.

i know your gonna ask so......find the deepest section of the channel just wide of the sandbar, locate bombies or ridges on the sounder and drop a line there.

yeah BarraBeast seems the big buggers were out this w/end we pulled some of the biggest I,ve seen for a long time

Just look for the big deep hole where all the sh....t settles after coming from the sewerage outlets. Just follow the paper trail

Saw another photo of the fish being held. Is a very good size fish! Heard it was the NT spear fishing record?

Didnt get a lenght of it did you? Would be interested to put a lenght to weight for the memory bank as i havent weighed one for years and only take length measurements now days.

Great fish - don't know that i'd want to actually get in the water to get it though.

Yep, 86cm. cuddles

is the fish in the pic the 86cm ???

I'd say so Doug. Those dive fins are about 1m long
